“ Yesterday we were serviced by Mr. Anthony the chief and his co-assistant Mr. Gab !! Food was excellent and fresh ! Burgers flavorful and juicy and the chili is the BEST I have ever had from a restaurant! The prices are amazing it’s a winning combo!! The food is cook to order and they personalize it how you want! Simply but oh so good and cheap!! We had the double cheeseburgers and chili cheese fries. The guy next to us ordered a triple cheeseburger with fried egg topped with chili it looked so good I took a picture of it shown below. ”

“ Traveling down the Pennyrile Parkway in KY, heading towards Clarksville TN late at night, we were searching for someplace to eat. We googled places near the Madisonville, KY exit and first tried going to Huddle House, but found them closed. Then we tried going to Denny's, and they were closed until 5 a.m. An older local lady we met, who had also tried going to Denny's, told us we should follow her "downtown" to Ferrell's Diner. Only a 2 min drive from the Pennyrile Parkway, Ferrell's ended up being a pleasant detour, that we will be making whenever we come back down the Pennyrile again. The Diner was very clean, and although it was staffed by only one person that night, he was quick to take our orders and efficiently went about cooking the food, and serving those already there, as well as those coming in. They serve breakfast and grill items 24/7, in addition to items not on the regular menu, such as country fried steak with gravy. Along with several types of pie for dessert. They have single, double and triple hamburgers too! Our waitstaff/cook was quick to refill our drinks and check back to see if we needed anything else. The portion sizes were plentiful; especially if you ordered the pancakes, that were as big as your plate. Our food was delicious and the biggest surprise, was the very affordable prices! Next time you're driving the Pennyrile and you're approaching Madisonville, KY, you should stop in and give them a try. Your belly will be full and you won't break the bank! ”
“ My family and I, from Michigan, stopped in after a few other options for dinner fell shorts while in town moving grandma back home and I couldn’t be more thankful things worked out the way they did! This has been the best food we’ve had the entire trip. Overall I dare say top 5 best burgers I’ve had in my life and since a kid burgers are always my go to so I’ve tried a few thousand, also best smash burger I’ve ever had. Tots were perfect, chili was out of the park. Service was great and so quick! Already bookmarked this place to revisit at some point, even if that means taking a trip for the weekend to this town for the soul purpose of coming back. Cannot recommend enough, the cook and server deserve all the praise, they curated a top tier experience for my family and I and they’re damn hard to please ”
